Love does illumine life

Even when a light goes out

another one is lit.

Goodbye brother.

Hello granddaughter.

I saw this blooming over summer

And even in the heat

Its tinted joy shows up for

Autumn.

The look of the Moon said ‘maybe not this time’

The look of the Sun said ‘now’

The look of the clouds was doubting and changeable

It was the grass that let me know it was time.

It shimmered expectantly.

I put my bare foot down on its blades

And let the dew absorb all my plans

As I ran with joy, leaving the musts behind.

Thank you …for all the intuitions that guide me, the inspirations that drive me, the serendipity that surprises me, the love that uplifts me and the strength that sustains me. During the easiest times and the hardest times, I have learned to lean on this infinite source of Divine Love. It is so abundant in its solutions and thoughts. Just when you think you can’t go on, you get a shot of something superhuman. When a really urgent need occurs, with a little patient waiting, I have seen incredible and perfectly fitting solutions. They always feel more special than my own fixings. They come with ‘value-added’ and sometimes with a humorous element. It’s those ones that are just so utterly perfect in every way. They reach where you didn’t know they needed to extend and adjust, rearrange, mend, knit and present whole to you a fait beautifully accomplit. Divinely done.

When you are about three feet under,

have you found some strength  

with the weight of it all, a pull?

I had one of those the other day,

to get above it and get to a strong place 

I had to ask for the pull, the line, the light

otherwise I knew I would

be six feet under.

I’m grateful for the weight. 

That weight gave me some power. 

It’s ‘me’ or ’it’ I heard myself say.

The pull, pulled. The line held. The light lit.

Is this Autumn sunshine or a Spring day?

Warmth arises now but

Southern Hemispherites see Autumn.

Different outcomes, requirements,

Results, expectations.

Can we ponder what is not in ours but may be

in others’ minds?

Not what is presented publicly, but the effects, aftermaths, potentials, dreams.

Can we be a united Omnisphere?

The Northern hemisphere is coming into spring while the Southern hemisphere is going out of the heat into autumn. I live in the Northern, my brother in the Southern. He regularly tells me of his thirty two degree temperatures and the beach swim after work. I regularly tell him of my seventh week in the house, watching rain and floodwaters, keeping up my exercises by running up and down the stairs. Externally it is either fabulous or freezing.

I always like perusing those pictures you see of aeroplane routes crossing the globe. It would be good if someone could draw a similar representation of the love between friends and family all over the world. Lines of love going back and forth from hearts and minds, across the world. We are covered in a weave of Love, all the time. I feel a little warmer knowing that.

A new year. It could be your first or your ninetieth. A chance to start fresh, see the past as complete. Today is ours and today is when we get to make new choices. Maybe better ones. Decisions. Maybe wiser ones. Reactions. Maybe more compassionate ones. We are always progressing, even if it doesn’t seem like it. Overall when we look back, we have come a long way. Fought some hard fights. Faced some tough times. But now we are at the beginning. Not starting again, but starting afresh.

New Year, new peace. Love illumines life.

There is something pleasant about coming to the end of a year. Even if we don’t reflect at all, it can be a relief to feel it is over. Then we take a week or two settling into the time of the year when the belief is about a birthday of a worldwide, renowned peacemaker, love-inspirer, miracle-maker and joy bringer. Next, a new leaf is turned. Starting afresh with many lists. Resolutions made with a good heart, a sense of another chance to do a bit better, be a bit better, forgive a little more, love a lot more and expect things to change for the better.
